Pros
  • A vivid and beautiful display with excellent color reproduction.
  • Google Play support.
  • Play PSP games in pixel-perfect quality.
Cons
  • The screen has relatively large bezels.
  • The body is big for the screen size.
  • The L2 and R2 buttons are difficult to press.
Reviews
  • Just when the RG353M came out, this one followed right after. Feels like it’s meant to compete directly with rival products.
  • The OS is Android only—no doubt about that.
  • Specs-wise, it’s powered by the T618 CPU with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, plus expansion via SD card which is nice.
  • The screen is a 4.95-inch OLED touchscreen. Some say it’s a bit dim, but most users report it’s not really noticeable once you start using it.
  • The battery is 5000mAh, so it should last for pretty long sessions.
  • The body is larger than before, but slimmer and easier to hold according to some feedback.
  • Shoulder buttons are stiff and hard to press—that’s something to watch out for.
  • Having access to the Google Play Store is huge. Being able to play mobile games with physical buttons is extremely convenient.
  • Emulation performance is impressive: PSP, Dreamcast, and Sega Saturn all run smoothly.
  • PS2 and GameCube can stutter, especially with heavier titles.
  • The biggest downside is the lack of Japanese language support. You’ll have to wait for an update to fix that.
  • If you only want to play retro games, this might be overkill. It’s really more suited for those who want to dive into the Android emulator scene.
